So, one of my personal favourite TV shows is "The Biggest Loser". I love it. I really think it inspires others to try to regain control of their weight and their lives and empower them to go out there are lose weight. But I do find the show a bit annoying. It focuses obsessively on exercise as being the key to losing weight. And as I mentioned before, exercise is great with many benefits for mind, body and soul. But time and time again, scientific research has shown that what you put into your body in terms of food is the number one biggest factor impacting weight gain and loss.
Did you know that a thirty minute job will "only" burn off say 350 calories? Yes it will give many benefits, but in terms of weight gain that only burns off 3/4 of a donut. I really don't want to put people off exercising, it has so many health benefits. And it can play a part in helping to lose weight. But it all comes down to what you eat. And this is why appetite suppressants can be such an important tool in weight loss. Because they really drill down to the number 1 rule. You cut down on how much you eat and you will lose weight.
But why can't people losing weight just eat less? This is a simple question with a very complicated answer. Psychology and a lifetime of habits paired with a stomach that may be over-stretched and feel "empty" when not overly full all act against people trying to lose weight. If it were as simple as that, everyone on the planet who wanted to lose weight would do. Straight away. But this isn't the case. People need help, and appetite suppressants can be a natural way of giving your body a hand in changing unhealthy behaviours that have built up.
We mentioned earlier that there are so many different types of appetite suppressants. It can be a little confusing to say the least!
Our top three all come in pill or capsule form, and are all natural rather than chemical. In fact the only major difference between them is that our number one product will maintain body muscle while targeting body fat. This is great for anyone trying to lose weight (not just guys with guns!) because the higher your muscle mass (the amount of muscle you have), the more calories you will burn when exercising, walking, cooking, tidying, thinking. Just about everything! So if you're losing weight, it does help to keep your muscle and just target fat.
Each one of our top three works, using different ingredients, to encourage your body to increase its metabolism naturally.
Are there any Other Ways of Suppressing Appetite?
There are a lot of ways to try to suppress your appetite. And we recommend trying some of these at the same time as exercising healthily (for your body) and using the appetite suppressants for the most success.
?Lean protein can reduce hunger. It's a fact that in the western world a lot of us turn to carbs when we're hungry. But we would in fact be much better off looking to sources of lean protein such as lean meat, fish, poultry, soybeans and eggs to help feel fuller for longer. Another way of getting protein in your system is through supplements. These can sometimes be expensive, so make sure you look for any deals or protein discount codes to make sure you get the best deal.
Solid foods are also more filling. This makes sense right? So if you're choosing between a meal-drink replacement and a meal bar replacement, go for the bar. It will help keep you fuller. ?
Really think about eating. So don't eat whilst watching TV, looking at the internet or reading a book. Focus on your food. This will help your brain to hear your stomach when it says it's full. And without the distraction you're more likely to listen and STOP eating!
There are also surgical solutions to curbing your appetite. This is a serious procedure and shouldn't be considered until other options have been exhausted. One such example is a gastric band. This will involve a surgical procedure where the surgeon will place a silicon device around the top section of the stomach, creating a small pouch above the band. This restricts the amount of food that can comfortably be eaten and therefore helps the patient lose weight after surgery.
We went all natural. Really if these work as well as the chemical products, why wouldn't you? Also the products we chose are tablets and soft-gels. Far easier to take than appetite suppressants that need to be sprinkled over food. Our top three are all effective if you're trying to lose weight. But do take a look through the other tips in this article. It all helps!
This is such a great idea. Muscle burns three times as many calories of fat. So you really don't want to get rid of it when trying to lose weight. And despite the packaging, this product isn't just for gym guys. It worked really well for a range of people including non-buff women!
It really is a very effective fat burner for men and women, and has been specially formulated to preserve muscle and strength while effectively converted stored fat into energy. So you'll feel more lively and active when using it too!
Its only downside is the cost. It isn't cheap. But then it is also good value as it is so effective. We don't hesitate in recommending this appetite suppressant.
A high potency source of CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid). This is essential in our diets and plays a key role in reducing body fat.
A great natural product. Won't over stimulate which can be a side effect of some appetite suppressants that people don't enjoy. Made in the USA so you know that what you're getting is safe to consume and will be effective too!
This product is a bit of a slow burner. We found that results were great, but they didn't really start to show until after the first month. Stick with it though. It's definitely worth it.
This product is similar to our 2nd placed appetite suppressant. It is based on HCA. This time with a 60% rather than 80% level.
This brand has been around for a long time. It's a trusted name in the US market and you know that you can trust it to work.
Much like the 2nd placed product it took a while to get working. We found that it was slightly less powerful as well and also had a slight after taste. That said, it did give results, reducing appetite and therefore weight loss.
They absolutely do all work. That said, our first placed product started to work within a few days and did maintain body muscle. It really helped to reduce the weight. Each one, used with the right mind-set will lead to weight loss. But our favourite was definitely the Vintage Burn.
